The Perry Soil and Water Conservation District is happy to be involved in the area of EcoTourism. Perry County is a beautiful place to hike, fish, hunt, and kayak. We will post the specifics of each event on this page.

April 10, 2026 - Tree pick-up at 212 S. Main Street, New Lexington rear entrance
April 15, 2026- Tri-County Envirothon in Muskingum County
April 21, 2026 - Perry SWCD Board of Supervisors Meeting @ 5:00 pm
April 22, 2026 - Area 3 Envirothon in Coshocton County
April 29, 2026 - Earth Day Celebration @ Glenford Fort Preserve 3 pm - 6 pm
CANOES, KAYAKS, AND STAND UP PADDLE BOARDS
The Perry SWCD has purchased 10 canoes, 14 Stand Up Paddleboards and 20 Kayaks through Boat Safety grants they received in 2015, 2016, and 2017. The SWCD will be providing Try-It days throughout the recreational season as well as boater safety classes.
